Checking the version of SQL Server for a database using T-SQL

Is there a way for me check what version of SQL Server I'm using for a database through T-SQL? Would there be some sort of stored procedure I can use? Thanks.

Connect SQL server and run the following query:

Select @@version

After that you will get the complete info about of SQL server like version, Copyright, date and etc.
