In Windows 10, would there be a way for me to check if an application has administrative privileges when it's launched. I can't find this in Task Manager. Thank you.

Open control panel > navigate to the user accounts & family safety area where you can select add or remove user accounts. Now a list of user accounts will be displayed on the screen. Each will have a name & the permission level of the user. From this utility you can determine which application you can run either administrative privilege/ standard user privilege.

In Windows 10, Task Manager should provide a 'Details' tab. In there, you can right click on the column header bar, and select 'Select columns'. Select the 'Elevated' and 'UAC virtualization' columns, and then 'Ok'.

The 'Elevated' column will say 'Yes' or 'No'. The 'UAC virtualization' column is a little more complicated if you think you need to use it.
