For Microsoft Word 2016, the date and time format is U.S based. Meaning that it's in this format: Month/Day/Year. I need to change it to the European date format: Day.Month.Year but I can't figure out how to change it. How can I do this change? Thank you!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Don’t have 2016 to test it but have been told this will work.

Use a regular expression in MS Word’s Advanced Find/Replace feature to locate all dates.
Change dates to desired format using the Replace button.
Check the result.

In any version of MS Word, dates can either be straight text/field. If the date is a field, then you can right click on the date & choose Edit Field from the resulting Context menu. From here, it is possible, to edit field with a different date format in the Field Properties list. Or if the date is regular text, then you it is possible to go through the document and manually re-type all the dates. If it is a large, then it will be a tedious. You can write a macro to overcome this issue.
