CELL PHONE HACK

I'm using a hacker to help me spy on my girlfriend cell phone. The hacker said that my cell phone needs to be jailbreaked and he needs my ip address. He gave me monitoring software for my phone to help me track gf cell activities. Does my android phone need to be jailbreak? Does the target phone need to be jailbreaked cause he said no only my phone? Is that apart of the procedure? Want to my make sure I'm not giving away ip address if I don't hv to? Thank you!

What you have done still date, they are all illegal activities. Why it is needed to spying your girl friend's phone? Why not you asking her directly if you have doubts? If you marry her, what will be there situation, ever you think about that?

First of all, jail breaking can void your original software policy of your mobile. So it is not a good practice.

Next hacking is an illegal procedure and it explorers all of your private data of your phone.

It is better immediately stop these activities & ask calmly to your girl friend then control the situation politely.

STOP !!. What you are doing is illegal and you may cause more issues for yourself by giving your "hacker" total access to your phone. Let it go. Depending on what you are concerned about that your girlfriend is doing there are other legal ways of finding out. Like private detectives.

No one needs your IP address. To start, you don't have "an" IP address; you are assigned temporary addresses whenever your phone connects. And any so-called "hacker" who needs you to tell him/her your address is either not worth communicating with or is playing you for some reason.

There is nothing good that can come even from trying to "spy on [your} girlfriend(sic) cell phone". It the worst, you can be charged (and convicted) with federal crimes in addition to your "hacker" stealing your identity info and creating a real mess for you. At best, you won't learn anything and won't get caught.

BTW, my phone's IP address right now is 192.168.11.4 and I have no concern about posting it for the world to see.

This hacker sounds like he's up to something or he's just trying to get money out of you by using IT terms that have nothing to do with the actual hack.  He needs your GF's phone info, not yours. Like Raven said the IP address is of no use as it's dynamic and changes all the time. If he's asking for the sim card info that may be another story.
