Most security professionals start by working first as network and server administrators. In the IT world, hands-on experience is something really important, so I would recommend to find a job in IT first, even when it is not exactly on the security field, so you can start gaining experience.
Certifications are good, but without experience, they are not enough to get you a job.

I do agree but certifications do help you to gain knowledge and confidence for a new job

The RHCE would get you experience/knowledge in the operating systems area. This is important to know in addition to the networking side of things for a security professional.

This is one of the most common questions I get regarding careers in information security - hence this audio program on getting started in security and this audio program on what's better for your career: certs, degrees, or experience. I can tell you that another certification is probably not going to help you get a job any more than the ones you have. It's important to look beyond "certifications" in and of themselves and get some hands on experience (i.e. on your own at home, internship, or volunteer work) and then get out there and make yourself known. People want to hire and work with people they know. Focused networking (i.e. going to events and meeting people, not connecting Ethernet and configuring IPs) is what I'd focus on right now if I were you. Look for local ISSA, ICCA, Cisco, UNIX, etc. groups and start handing out business cards asking people how you can help them. This formula has been proven time and time again to help you reap big rewards in your career.
