Career advice for C++, VC++ programer

Hello, I have over 12 years of experience in windows appliation software development experience using FORTRAN, C , C++ , MFC & VC++ for engineering applications. Please advise, what the career options that I can consider with this background? I am considering the option of switching to business software development?.. Please advise

    I used to be a vc++ guy, and gave it up for c# on a client's insistance and have never looked back. I was an application developer already, but I would guess the transition would be easy - especially on middle tier stuff Also, here in London there is dire shortage of good ex c++ c# people, if that helps
