Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Sometimes you need to hold the CTRL and click to have the hyperlink work. Just mouse over the link and see if you get a pop up message telling you how to go to the link. It’s possible the PDF is protected, if so you can cut and paste the link or contact the webmaster of the page you are getting the PDF from and explain the problem. They may be unaware of the situation if the links are for other pages on their websites.

"click on a link/tab in a particular website"- what did it mean? Is this your company's own website/ an external link where you enter with user id/ password ? Is your current browser supports that link properly? Have you updated your browser?

Moreover, you can try to reinstall Adobe Reader or may use another PDF Reader & check if that helps.

Can you post an example link for a PDF with embedded links that don't work? A PDF can link to local documents that are not accessible across the Internet. If you're not on the same network, the links can't resolve.

If we see an example, we might know more.

You can also try changing the default program to Microsoft Edge if on Win10. It may allow the hyperlinks to work when it opens the document.

@DebraWright: If you are still having issues with this site and it's documents, broken links and such, post the address and we can check it out for ourselves.
