To install Windows 10, my friend gave me a USB and it worked on several other computers (I know that because it's my other friends' computers). But on mine, it's not working at all. It just shows the Windows 10 logo and then goes completely black. What went wrong?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It most likely is the computer in not compatible with that version of Windows 10. Beside that, as far as I know Windows 10 is no longer free. It may be a licensing issue when the install will no longer work. Did he give you a bootable USB with the ISO file? It could also have something to do with the booting process.
