Can we send spool files from one outqueue of first server to another outqueue of 2nd server without losing the spool files on the first server, by using AS/400 commands and not through replication software like MIMIX? Both being iSeries servers on the same network. Is there any procedure to configure the same?

Software/Hardware used:
AS400, ISERIES, SPOOL FILE, REMOTE OUTQUEUES

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Try using the SNDTCPSPLF command

There is a parameter DLTSPLF that you use to either keep or delete after sending the spool file.

SNDNETSPLF using system directory. Copy goes to users outq on same or remote system. Good Luck

At a previous employer we would do this by putting an option 1 on the specified spool file. I was not there to know how this was set up to work. But, yes, it can be done.
