Can two foreign keys reference the same primary key on another table. That I have team table attributes (Team_id, Team_name, Team_captain) and fixtures table having this attributes (Fixtures_id, fixture_time, fixture_date, fixture_venue, 1team_id, 2team_id). My question is this: Is it possible for both 1team and 2team in a context fixture in fixture table reference the team_id primary key column in team table?

You just need to name the 2 constraints differently.
