Can messages be backed up & transferred from a Blackberry to a Samsung Note?

My partner owns a Blackberry She then got a new Samsung Note early September. Mid October I found a troublesome (romantic) message dated 20 Sept, 2012 from my partners ex boy friend! She claims its a very very old message not a new one!!?? Other names on her messages list did not have messages attached, this one name did have a message attached!!?? Many names may have transferred but I only found this one message in question, I think came in to her Samnsung Note "on the 20-09-2012" ( never transferred !! ) I have been told you cannot back up & transfer from a Blackberry to his new Samsung Note! Desperate to resolve this please - just tell me straight up please

    You can transfer either by Bluetooth / or by any 3rd party tool. But the tools are not all free. Also through Gmail it is possible.
