I want to know if I were to connect two computers together via Ethernet or USB or some other means, if I could use the power of both processors, lets say an i3-6100 and a i5-M450, to stream a single game running on one of the computers? Is this possible, and if it is would it even be worth the time and effort?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

For streaming things like live game play and videos the most common problem is your ISP bandwidth. For most cable providers you get good to great download speed but the upload speed stinks. If you are talking about you streaming a game so others can watch I don’t think the second processor would help. The other option is something like Verizon’s FIOS. The supposedly offer the same speed downloading or uploading.

Yes, you can connect two computers via Ethernet cable/LAN cable or Bluetooth. Next question is not clear. Did you mean play a single game on both the computers while connect the game website from any one computer?

Also check your internet tariff/plan from your interne service provider and make sure that there is a good speed of their internet that can support when streaming. Also NIC card type is a matter.
