I'm working on Oracle Forms 6i, I need to call form (lock form) when users stop working on system for time. I created a timer and call my lock form when timer expires at work. But I need to activate timer when no action on main form, I mean when a user is leaving the system open for time, in the same time, there is another user working with another user name and password on the same P.C . How can i do it? I need help.

I can't think of a way to activate the timer when something 'does not happen'.  I think you should focus on doing things when something does happen.

For example, you could have your timer fire at shorter intervals (say 5 seconds), and have an item, parameter or global variable to count the number of times the timer has fired and call your lock form when that counter reaches the desired limit.  The counter should be set back to 0 when the user performs any action on the system (using some form-level triggers to monitor user actions).
