Sounds like it has enough power. The bigger issue is the video card. My preference is towards Nvidia cards. You want something with at least 4 gig of video ram.  I run a  lot on my laptop with a 940 MX.  Check out the benchmark testing. I play Far Cry , Skyrim, Guid Wars 2, Tomb Raider, Planet Coaster with no issues. I’d find one with my numbers or higher… My laptop is about 3 years old so it’s a bit out dated.

If you are not determined to buy this one & not obsessed for HP, what you mentioned here, you can consider these also:

Lenovo Ideapad 330 High-Performance Gaming Laptop

    Dell Inspiron 5575

    HP 15-BS158CL Laptop

    HP Pavilion 15 cw0088nr Laptop

    Acer Aspire 5

You can check above mentioned laptops through the vendors official website.

Another thing is to check the game spec. See what they require. Take the on with the highest demand and use that as a base for making your decision. The games you mention are less demanding than most of the more popular ones.

    GTA 5 requires
    OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1.
    Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs)
    Memory: 8GB. Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB.

    The Sims 4
    OS: 64 Bit Windows 7,8, or 8.1.
PROCESSOR: Intel core i5 or faster AMD Athlon X4.
    MEMORY: 4GB RAM.
HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least
1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games.

My Planet coaster needs much more
    O SWindows 7 (SP1+) / 8.1 / 10 64bit
    Processor Intel i7-4770/AMD FX-8350
    Memory 12 GB RAM
    Graphics nVidia GTX 980 (4GB) / AMD R9 380 (4GB)
    DirectX Version 11
    Storage 8 GB available space

I would say ram and processer are capable of handling the games and other stuff but real gaming stuffs are handled by GPUs. So if the GPU that is there in this Computer is good enough to handle the Modern Game Titles and you are good to go.

With that video card and other specs you should be fine. It falls into the high end video cars on the benchmark site listed above. Mine fall in the mid range and it plays any game I have wanted without issues. Like Crysis, L4D, Fallout and more

Moreover, until your check physically the system, you may not get idea about that. It is better to ask a good & authorized computer seller for your requirements and check thoroughly the configurations. After that you can buy which is you needed. By searching on the net, you can only get some ideas.
