Blank screen when user stars AS/400 CA Session

2-3 users get blank screen when opening session, status says session connected, MA & A appear left bottom of screen but no sign on screen. can delete and start new session sign on appears. save & exit then reopen blank screen no sign on. All users are set up same, just started happening last week. have noticed if we change the display size from 27 x132 to 40x80 it will work. Also if we change one session that's working from 27x132 to 40x80 it fails. Any ideas?

It may have to do with your Client Access configuration. Check to see if both the check boxes for avoid duplicate names are check. They should be in most cases.

Also check to see if a workstation ID was entered or the use WIndows user name radio button is ticked. I have not had any issues with the screen size causing log in issues. I do have it set to 27×132 for reading spoolf iles without having to window left/right.

    How are you starting the session? It may be that the shortcut is pointing to the old session configuration. Check for duplicate configuration file names with the .WS extension.
