In a merge some lines are completely full but others require no information - how do you delete the blank lines on those sheets that do not need extra information short of having to review and change each document in the merge

What software are you using for this merge process?

Assuming this is MS office word, for blank lines elimination, you can try this one, when you merge, in dialog box where under merging records, select any one, 'don't print blank lines when data fields are empty' or print blank lines when data fields are empty.  However, software/ OS details are necessary to get good replies. Also it depends on MS office versions.

Assuming you have used earlier version of Office also. You have idea about mail merge. So follow, this procedure, which suggested earlier post. Hope it helps you.
