Blank layout on PowerPoint for Mac

I'm using Office 365 for a Mac. Whenever I start up a PowerPoint presentation, I want it to sow a completely blank layout (meaning that I don't want that default template there). Is that possible? How can I do it?

Check out this link, it’s for an earlier version but have seen a few users said it worked for the latest version of Power Point as well.
