I need help please! When I'm booting up my new laptop, it's getting past the first screen (Sony logo) but then just flashes a black screen. Not the Windows 10 screen. I tried Safe Mode but I'm still getting the same screen. What's going on here? This is a Sony Vaio laptop.

This sounds like a hardware problem - quite likely the video controller or the LCD panel. You might have to look into getting those repaired or just replace the laptop. It could also be bad memory, a bad motherboard, or even a bad power supply. There are a myriad of potential issues.

You could try an external monitor. Does it appear to still be on, meaning the fan is working and there are lights on showing power and drive activity?

If you any how get success to boot in safe mode with networking than try this, Press windows key and C. Select settings and change PC settings. Now select update and recovery and windows update. Here select view details and Check for updates. Under optional, install the updates. This is just for a try. If the laptop has hardware problem as mentioned in other post, and this is a new laptop, better cal their service center/ contact to a representative and you can get more help.
