I would like to find out what is the best way to run a 'program' in Microsoft Excel or Access (at the moment, I am used to Excel only but I'm willing to learn about Access if that's what it takes) that will allow me to type in one or two letters and it produces a word in the particular cell that I'm working. Especially a word that is often used like 'CL' for the word 'cumberland' and 'PV' for 'portview'.
In replying to this request, I would appreciate it if you give detailed instructions which I hope will be step-by-step.
