So hopefully this makes sense: I need to create a batch script so when I want to wake up my Windows 10 PC (work machine), all I have to do is press one key. Perhaps the Spacebar or even Enter. What's the process to do that? Thanks so much.

Try this one, open command prompt with admin rights. Now type as,

    powercfg -devicequery wake_from_any

and press Enter key. It shows complete list of devices that are supported to wake up the system. Note down the name of the keyboard from the list. Now again pass this command,

    powercfg -deviceenablewake "nameofthedevice"

Press Enter key. Here "nameofthedevice" means for the device name that you noted down.
