I recently tested a batch FTP which gets a file from a Unix server and downloads to a flat file on an IBM mainframe.
When I run this on our test box, it creates a fixed block flat file of 128 bytes.
When I run the exact same batch FTP on our production box, exact same server, it creates a variable blocked file of 256 bytes.
Why would this be? Different data pools or FTP defaults?
Any suggestions on how I can make the production box produce a fixed block 128 byte file?
Any help would be appreciated.
