    Can you provide more details about your situation? An easy way to look at existing SNMP usage is to connect a network analyzer such as Wireshark or OmniPeek to a span/mirror port on your network and see how it compares with overall network usage. in most situations that I see, SNMP is enabled for little to no reason and often just serves to create more network management and security risks than anything else.

    SNMP is used to monitor network devices.  The bandwidth will in part depend on the number of monitored devices and the monitoring frequency.
