Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It may be the IP for the game is blocked by the network. I am curious if this is a personal home computer or one in a work environment? To provide better feedback we need more info.  What is your current system?  How is the network set up?

Is this a online game/you downloaded & installed the game? If On line, you have to check your firewall/ anti virus setup. If this is installed, but there is no need for internet connection, you can reinstall the game to check again.

It may be issues with who is hosting the game. You may not have the right credentials for accessing the server it runs on. What game are you trying to run ?  It may require some extra setup.

Also if this game is downloaded earlier and necessary to install, check either it was installed correctly that means when you installed and that time you might ignore one/more step(s), but the game installed anyway. Also check after installation, is there any kind of configuration is required? If yes, check the same again.

@grandmafou, where is it? Is this an office/at your home? If it is office, you can contact the System Admin person, who cares about your systems. If it is home, you can check firewall/antivirus setup.

Is this the Microsoft version of Hearts or another app you downloaded? There appears to be a known issue and it depends on what OS you are running but according to the Microsoft forum site I found this..

Thank you for providing us the required information.

This issue might have occurred due to anti-virus software installed, Windows Firewall etc. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps

Step 1: I suggest you to disable anti-virus software.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If the issue still persist, try to uninstall the third party anti-virus software.

Step 2: I suggest you to turn off Windows Firewall.

    Follow the below steps:

    1. Press Windows + X, click on Control Panel, select Category and then select Large or Small icons.
    2. Click on Windows Firewall.
    3. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    4. Click Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended) under each network location that you want to stop trying to protect, and then click OK.

Refer: Turn Windows Firewall on or off

Hope it helps. Get back to us with an updated status of this issue for further assistance.
