I'm trying to add a feature to one of my Android applications that would back up a SQLite database to my SD card. Is there a way to do this? Thank you very much!

Since a sqlite database is just a normal file, you could probably just copy it to the sdcard as you would with some other type of file.

Not sure if there is way to copy the file on Android, but you could also use file streams to read from one file and write to other one as explained here:

Copy or Move File From One Directory to Another on Android

There are several applications available in android market to backup sqlite database. I generally use SQlite Debugger for taking backup.
