Avoid user login to subsystem beside QINTER

Hi, I'm new to a staff who maintains a AS/400 system in my company. How to avoid user login to Subsystem beside QINTER, because I'm still see user can login to QBASE. I want to maintenance user only login to QINTER but specific user can only login to QBASE.

You can control things like that by having a different JOBD to be used by that user profile. You could copy the existing JOBD, rename it, change the parameters you need for this one user then do a CHGUSRPRF and point to this new JOBD.  Without more specifics it is hard to post an example.

    Looks like your system is configured to use the QBASE setup as opposed to the QCTL setup. Check system value QCTLSBSD. IBM ships systems with a value of QCTLSBSD(QSYS/QBASE). That puts all workload in one pool. Changing that to QCTL will have a seperate controlling subsystem (QCTL) one for Interactive work (QINTER) and one for Batch processes QBATCH.
