AutoCAD: How to combine the same type of layer from multiple different files, into one file?

Hi there, my question is related to an AutoCAD drawing in which I have a whole map of a village, and this village is split into different 'tiles' or 'blocks'. Each tile/block has boundary lines along the roads, my issue arises as I need to combine all these different tiles/blocks onto the total/whole map and in doing so combine all these similar layers of road networks to ensure I have not missed any areas out. I would be most grateful if someone could help me with this, thank you.
