I recently updated to Windows 10 1803 and now my audio doesn't work at all. I did some searching and saw several articles that blame this version on it. But ther's the thing: I did the update about two weeks ago and the audio stopped working yesterday. Is there anything I could try? Thanks so much.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Have you tried the sound troubleshooter? Right clicker the speaker icon in the task bar and select the troubleshoot option. I can assume you checked the volume and made sure it was not muted by accident.

If it was working after the update for approx 2 weeks and has now stopped it may be a hardware issue. Try headphones or external speakers and see it you get different results. Also if this is a laptop  and you have a Bluetooth speaker you may want to try that as well.

Check whether the microphone setting is OK. Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure "Allow apps to access your microphone" is active. Also if you are using headphones/speakers, try to change another one to see if i is the problem of the playback device.

Also you can try to uninstall the audio drive and in next reboot, lets Windows installs the driver automatically. If that does not help, and if there is a way, you can try to roll back the update. But before doing that, for safety purpose, take all necessary backups.
