What can I look for to see why my ASP is Spiking? I have checked wrkactjob, cleared old spool, files, JE's are fine.

Try to determine if it happens at certain times.  Then set up job schedule entries to run WRKACTJOB *print to an isolated outq at just before those times.  Also, look for subsystems that may be using some type of GUI for application screens, JVA.  I have seen issues when people signon in the morning and return from lunch.  WRKACTJOB, move your cursor to CPU% and hit F16 to sort.

Does it always stay up or does it go down on it's own after a period of time? It could be due to temporary files and user created files for queries tying up disk space. We have had users in the past run large queries interactively that would kill our system response. IS it just one WRKSYSSTS stat that bothers you now?
