I am trying to transfer data from Head office AS/400 server to DR AS/400 server but the data format has been changing. What should I do in this case?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Another way we have done it is to create the file on your target system. Create a temporary DDM over that new source file. Then copy your file to the DDM file.

Thank you for replying! Yes I am using ftp for transferring the data. My objective is to transfer a physical library from production AS/400 server to remote AS/400 server.I am using these command....

    CHGCURLIB CURLIB(Library name)

    STRTCPFTP RMTSYS('destination IP')

    USER:

    PASS:

    CD QSYS

    BI

MPUT 'source library' 'destination library' (REPLACE

Small files are transferring perfectly but for big files data format is distorting ..

    Hi,
try to save the Library within save file at first and using the following command :-

on your production i system you should create save file
    CRTSAVF FILE(YOURLIB/TTT)
    On your Destination I SYSTEM
you should create another save file
    CRTSAVF FILE(YOURLIB/TTT)

    SAVLIB LIB(GG) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(YOURLIB/TTT) TGTRLS(V?R?M?)

but note that the Target release of your DR must be the same of your production one or you should determinate it as Valid values depend on the current version, release, and modification level of the operating system, and they change with each new release.  You can press F4 while
prompting this command parameter to see a list of valid

    FTP RMTSYS('Destination IP')
    USERNAME:
    PASSWORD:
Use BIN (Representation type is binary IMAGE)
    use the command
    put YOURLIB/TTT.savf YOURLIB/TTT.savf

    After transfer complete Successfully
    try to restore the library
