Apple store will not connect unless reboot cable modem and switch.

My Verizon Message+ app periodically stops syncing with my other devices. Internet connection is working. Also notice that Apple's app store link will not open. Upon rebooting my Netgear GS108T switch and Motorola cable modem Message+ and App Store begin to work.  I am using default settings on switch. I have multiple access points (multiple buildings) and additional GS108T switches on my network. Any idea if this could be a modem issue, or a network settings issue? Any recommendations on how to gain more knowledge about how networks function so I might be able to understand the causes of these types of problems?

Software/Hardware used:
Motorola Surfboard SBG6580, Netgear GS108T

As you mentioned, app store Apple has a strong security inside its all products/ software. Sometimes, I also face the same problem, when I connect my iPhone wifi and share it with my laptop. When switch on at first the laptop is not getting wifi connection, but when I restart my iPhone's wifi again, this time the laptop gets the connection. Also the connection is so poor. Sometimes  it is so good., but very few. Connection also depends on place/ internet plans. You can see here that solution from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204051

And also you can try to overcome your issue with this small utility called 'netgear genie', which helps to manage, monitor/ repair network.
