AMD PC hardware
I'm currently building a mid tier pc and i was wondering if i should upgrade my current am4 motherboard,
I'm currently waiting for the 3950X processor and i have the X470 motherboard waiting for it (new in box) with some 3600-4144boost memory
The buildpath i'm going for is
32gb 3950 and a gtx 2070
but now im reconsidering the purchase for the motherboard. I was reading that the X470 has pci 2.0 and the X570 has pci 4.0
(is this based on overall pci lane performance or is this pure for the amount of cards it can handle?)
Also, i was reading that the x470 doesn't support memory speeds above 2933, whilst the x570 is able to pull 3200 off of the memory i have.
Should i buy the x570 then?
PC is used for server, gaming and IT so i need the memory speeds and cpu core count.
Video editing not so much.
Sorry for any bad grammar, English is not my first language.

Software/Hardware used:
X470, X570, 3950X

If you are confirmed, you can go for  x570. But be cautious when all of these parts on motherboard. While the AMD X570 chipset uses four PCIe lanes to uplink/ downlink to the CPU IO.
