Advisability of deleting all but one of a series of .RDB files of same size and date

RDB file
I am trying to reduce my hard drive storage and have a list of files in the format and extension:
text1.rdb
text2.rdb etc
Continuing for some ten examples and all dated the same date. Is it safe to just keep one of these and assume the rest are duplicates? They are all exactly the same size.

Software/Hardware used:
I used to be a Microsoft user ( now Mac) and believe these may be database files for an Office applications

Not sure where it came from. Could be a Redis database file to a wavelet video file to a Nintendo 64 ROM database. Best bet is to back up the files if you feel the need to delete them. That way if something fails or no longer works you can restore them.

Given the sizes and dates, it seems likely they're versions of the same database. And backing them up first is highly advised before deletions.
