The Stellar support group can provide the code you need. No one else can.

You are better off contacting them. The activation codes may be unique to the installation. What works for one may not work for others. Besides can cannot verify that you have a legal copy of the software.

Thank you so much for responding Todd. I only have the cracked version of it. I never thought it would still need activation code.

Instead. Can anyone help me with a recovery software that I can install into my laptop? Recovery tool that doesn't require activation code? Thanks in advance!

What type of data recovery are you looking for and is it for a PC or database server? Did you lose a single file, a database, email ? Can you provide some additional details as to how you think the data was lost or damaged? There may be better tools for your specific issue.

    Thank you Todd!

I lost all my files saved in my ssd hard drive. It's only less than 500GB. Photos of my daughter is what I'm after the most and other business documents.

    I hope you can help.

    Thanks!

    That's sad.

How exactly did you lose them?
Did you delete them by accident or did the hard drive stop working?  If the latter, is it working or at least recognized by the operating system now?

I accidentally reformatted the drive but it's still working. I just lost all my files.

If you poke around a bit on the net you can find a few options. It depends on how the data was lost as to how well the recovery will work.  Try this link 5 FREE Data Recovery Software That Actually Work

I already installed cracked version of it only to find out that I only installed the trial version. Been looking all over the net but couldn't find one.

I have used a free instance of Recuva (one of the options suggested in the article posted by Todd) successfully more than once, but I only used it to recover a couple of files at most.  I'm not sure if a free tool will allow you to recover a full drive.

Also, formatting is a little different than just deleting the files, so, it might complicate things further.

I hope you find a way to recover your files, specially the photos of your daughter.  I have been there and I know how bad it feels.

    Good luck.

Thank you Carlos. Really appreciate it. Free tool only allow 1GB to recover and will ask you to upgrade to full version once you exceed. It is really important for me to recover my daughter's photos as she is living with her mom right now and I seldom speak or see her due to her mom's restriction. It hurts me a lot as well being in this situation. I wish they are just a few hours away so I can visit every now and then. Heist... I am loosing my hope.

I do feel for you loss as well, losing data is one thing, losing photos is another. I have heard countless stories over the years similar to yours. People crying because the phone was in their pocket when the fell in the pool and now they have lost pics of their kids first birthday. It's sad. Unless you work in the IT industry most people do not realize the importance of backup, and multiple back ups. Some paid professional services may be able to recover the lost pics and data but it can get pricey. For me I have a load of back up media. I have most of my photos on the cameras SD card backed up to my laptop as well as my external 4TB drive. You never know where a point of failure may occur. I have worked at 2 companies that had major failures and had to go through a long disaster recovery process that took up to 2 weeks to get the company back up and running. Sometimes even the back up tapes would fail to reload the data. Call me paranoid but most of my important things are in at least 3 different locations just to be safe. If all else fails, you might be able to see if you can recover some of the pictures from any social media you may have posted to, old emails that may contain some pics or even friends and family that may have a copy. That way you would have something. I hope the best for you.

Thank you Todd. I still have other photos stored on my FB acct. However, the most recent ones were on that hard drive.
