I have created a PivotTable view in Access 2010. I want to allow the user to double-click on a field and trigger an event that updates the underlying data and refreshes the view. This is a no brainer in VBA, but when I go into Design View and try to add code to an event, the event doesn't work. For example, when I add a simple message box to the double-click event for one of the fields, when I view the PivotTable and double-click the field, nothing happens. It's as if field-level events are disabled. I have searched for answers, and older MS documentation seems to suggest that these events should be available. What am I missing?
