I would recommend you install a fresh windows 2008 domain controller into your environment. Do the forestprep and domainprep first prior to adding this server to the environment. Once you add this server as a domain controller and all identical functions as the previous server, then you can migrate the FSMO roles over to it.
By attempting to upgrade this platform, you will be affecting too many systems (Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint). Your domain controller should have no other systems attached to it. You should have a dedicated “application server” where you can house Exchange and SharePoint.
Thanks Wiki for your answer. But i read that if i’ll try to move MSFO rules there vere a problem. If i’ll install fresh domain controller and add it as e second domain controller then move the rules is there’ll be problem?
