I'm displaying a MHT file in iFrame using JSP. It's working fine in IE and Firefox (with add-on) but downloading in Chrome. How can I display a MHT file in Chrome?

Rename it to .html

Chrome can handle MHT files just fine.
1. Right-click on an MHT file
2. Select “Open with > Choose default program…”.
3. Click the “Browse…” button.
4. Navigate to C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\
5. Select “chrome.exe”, click “Open”.
6. OK.

The MHT now opens in Chrome. Voila!

IE supports opening mht files, while chrome does not support mht files. But it can be done by going to experiments page (chrome://flags) & turning on save page as mhtml. Please link here for more info:

"Rename it to .html" - what a dumb response. Also Chrome can not handle mht files just fine. Making Chrome the default for MHT files does not magically make Chrome accept MHT files.
