Without at all taking copyrighted material, and for research purposes only, how does one download the source code for existing websites regardless of the code type and be able to regenerate to see what snippets do what - the platform used to do a particular operation. It is clear that any programming language out there that is unique is used by large companies WITH LARGE TEAMS OF ATTORNEYS SUING for people and companies taking their intellectual property
THAT IS NOT THE PURPOSE....
I am a project manager for this research task - I have a modicum amount of knowledge in information systems.
I’ve never learned to truly code a SINGLE LANGUAGE and yet obtained a masters in MI (mgmt. info sys). Go figure.
However, I am starting to learn WordPress because that is what the project relates to.
In addition the research project and the results are for a non-profit company that has not a single goal of doing anything but what they are doing ... and that is allowing small businesses to use resources and have a means to grow their business, employ more people, offer healthcare, increase wages, provide retirement plans, and expand - ultimately growing the U.S. economy and we have a few city pilots in which are doing this in and this particular project comprises about 5% of the consulting/products and services being offered to the companies that become members in the pilot cities.
Sorry to be so long and seemingly lack of cohesiveness in this question/post because I could not ask for something and not say why
