There seems to be an element in your atrwork of the Corel Draw file that is causing it to crash, maybe it’s an effect or bitmap that has some corruption. There are a few things you can do …
and see http://www.cdr.viewertool.com/
1. Open your backup file and re-save it as a different version of .cdr (there could have been a glitch when you saved the original)
2. Export the backup file to .cmx, then start a new drawing, import the .cmx then save it again under a new file name as a .cdr
3. Navigate through each object and remove any “grouped effects” or “transformations” etc. This may take quite a while depending on how many objects you have.
