Not the sharpest of programmers…

Microsoft has a new programming language F#, for functional programmers. It’s lucky they didn’t come up with D#, for dummies, or E# for eggheads. Any suggestions on the types of programmers who would use A#, B# and C#. If anything, Microsoft progarmming is looking pretty flat.

It's true that Microsoft programming is never natural, but neither is it accidental.

The C# language is already in widespread use, and as for B#, any musician will tell you that under the even-tempering tuning system this is exactly the same as C.

I don't know about A# or B#, but I reckon O# would be for Irish programmers, while Mac# is either Scottish or definitely not for Microsoft programmers.
