MI5 recruits internet savvy spies

WAshford Profile: WAshford

MI5 is recruiting a new team of intelligence officers in their 20s and 30s to replace ageing operatives who do not have the IT skills they need to survive.

Jonathan Evans, the director-general of MI5, admitted to a Parliamentary committee that his agency’s IT skills are not up to scratch.

The agency is apparently looking for young bloods who can use the internet to maximum effect and understand services like Twitter and Facebook.
