How CIOs banter

Bryan Glick Bryan Glick Profile: Bryan Glick

Downtime found itself in between two Very Well Known CIOs recently over a glass or two of fine wine. Very Well Known CIO number one is about to leave his job, while Very Well Known CIO number two has just changed jobs. So what career-improving advice could be gleaned from these two knights of our profession? Did they share tips on how to reach the top in IT? Not quite:

Very Well Known CIO No.2: “So I hear you’re off to become CIO of Wikileaks?”

Very Well Known CIO No.1: “Now that would be a great job.”

Downtime: “Can I break that news on Twitter tomorrow?”

Very Well Known CIO No.1: “Don’t you dare.”

Now you know – the best career advice is: don’t tell Downtime.
