Health IT interoperability means different things to different organizations — and poses different problems. For instance, some struggle to get departments to share electronic health record (EHR) files or other key documents. Others can do that, but run into difficulties when they try to share information with partners. Others can do that, but can’t tie into a health information exchange.
Because of this variety in organizations’ experience with health IT interoperability, SearchHealthIT.com is conducting a survey that will dive into this sometimes thorny topic. We want to hear from you about the biggest interoperability challenges you face and the issues most important to you as federal deadlines for achieving the meaningful use of EHR technology near.
Please take a few minutes today to fill out our health IT interoperability survey. The results will help us determine which areas to cover in upcoming months. In addition, all respondents will be entered into a drawing to win one of five $50 gift certificates from Amazon.com.
Thank you! We appreciate your input.
