Monday (8 Dec) was the busiest day of the year for online shopping with an expected £320million likely to have left shoppers’ credit card or paypal accounts.

This figure shows how far online retail has come in a short time with the internet trade body IMRG saying the UK’s Christmas online retail sales could reach £13.6bn this year.

However, large that fiugure may seem, its only a drop in the ocean of the overall Christmas retail market, which is good news for online retailers, as there’s still room for lots of growth.

If you still haven’t bought your Christmas presents and aren’t the creative type that is planning on making your own this Christmas to save the pennies, then have a look at our Christmas gift guide galleries for geeks.
