OS/2
OS/2 was a cooperation between IBM and Microsoft to create the new Desktop Environment and became a fiasco. It looks like that will happen again. The only clients that I had that used OS/2 and OS/2 Warp were banks, and it took them some time to recover from that technological disaster. It looks like they are teaming up again to see how they can solve the "Big Data" challenges without following the correct path. BlockChain sounds like a prison application, certainly hope that it does not imprison of Banking and Finance systems.

Actually, we had two systems that ran OS/2 at our bank. Both of them were highly stable and very functional. Never had issues with them and they perfectly fine up until the bank closed in 2006. They talked without in issues to the network and to other machines.including state of the art Imaging SAN's.
