This introductory SAP content on SearchSAP might be a good place to start.

Otherwise you can check out the SAP Training and Education page: http://www.sap.com/training-education/overview.html

Best way to start with will be to take an introductory course in SAP and then to start having hands on in some project work. The more hands on you do in real time project, the more relevant experience you'll gain.

SAP is a very large system. Suggest you do a bit of research on the different modules and then pick a module. to focus on. Best way to learn is hands-on. If taking a course, make sure you have a hands on component or environment where you can practice.

SAP is a very vast ERP software and have a no. of modules. First, do some research on the modules and decide which module is best fit for you. You can decide it on the basis of your work-ex(if any). If not having any work-ex, decide on the basis of your background. For ex, a mechanical graduate can opt for SAP MM module whereas a computers graduate can choose SAP ABAP or SAP BASIS.
After this, start learning from some online resource like tutorials point. Get a dummy software and start practicing from it. Get a live project, if possible.
