It's my husbands computer. Today the touchpad doesn't work. Thinking he somehow turned it off, I need to know how to turn it back on. Can you help me?

Do you know how to turn the touchpad back on for a HP Pavilion?

Some HP laptops have a trackpad locking function that can be turned on or off by double-clicking near the top left-hand corner of the trackpad. Otherwise, you can look in the Mouse Pointers section under Control Panel, and see if there is an option there to disable or enable the trackpad.

Easiest bet is to double-tap the upper L corner of the trackpad. That SHOULD work. If not, go to the control panel. I think it's Icon View, Mouse, TouchPad.

Which OS are you using? If you are using Windows 7, check Control Panel: Mouse. Select the Hardware tab and see if the device is enabled.
