Cognos Implementation SAP Source Oracle DB Access Reporting

Hi All, I have been tasked to write functional requirements for a Cognos implementation. Forgive me for asking some noobish questions, but some of this is new to me. The current source is composed of SAP tables, which the users have brought into Access dbs, (however currently the SAP tables are fed into oracle as well) which contain macros which are composed of multiple queries which consist of the multiple SAP tables with several joins to each other, and create a product which in the next query is then joined to another table, and continuously layered as such, finally producing a final output. This is all produced by a form which contains the macro in a button. My question is what would be the best way make this process run and produce an output in cognos? Where will all these queries and processes be stored and how? ETL? stored procedures in oracle? In Framework Manager (can it even populate tables with the product from joined tables automatically)? Any help is greatly appreciated. The more technical the answer the better. If the answer is impressive i may consider retaining you as a consultant. Thanks. Cheer, Jack
