New to CL and have created some basic programs. Looking to find out if there is a command that I can place inside the program that will prompt the user for a Y or N answer and then perform the next command depending on their response. I'm guessing there is a way to do this, can anyone help?

This is certainly possible. Look at this article for a starter :

Why do this in a CL? Why not use an RPG program or use a menu? Can you explain the project a little more as to what it is trying to do. There may be better methods.

One just came to mind, you may be able to use SNDBRKMSG to the user and condition the program based on their response.

Hi Todd, I've been on the operations side of things throughout my time in IT so I never picked up RPG.  I dabbled in CL some years ago then left the platform and now just got back.  I have some ideas down the road that I can use this logic.  It could be a Y or N or something else so trying to get the logic down.
