bring/take, Business writing, grammar, Quiz
|Which is correct?
When you go to the manager’s meeting next week, please _____ your department’s current budget report.
Bring and take can be tricky. Bring is used for movement towards the speaker or the speaker’s point of reference. Take is used for movement away from the speaker’s point of reference. (If the sentence started with “When you come to the manager’s meeting next week…,” bring would be the correct answer. )
