Skype recently sold for ______
a. $2.7 billion.
b. $2.7 billion dollars.
Answer: a.
Explanation: The dollar sign is already in place, so if you put dollars after the figure, you’d be saying 2.7 billion dollars dollars. Which would just be silly.
